Lenders ยท Equipment financing

Equipment deals with the asset facts already checked.

You know what you write. We hold your criteria on file, in your words, and introduce only borrowers that fit them, after we have reviewed their information. Facilities from $5 million, typically $10 million to $250 million.

Who this is for

Banks, credit funds, family offices and specialty finance companies that write equipment financing of $5 million or more, typically in the $10 million to $250 million range. We describe lenders by type and never name them.

What you tell us

Your mandate, once, in writing. We update it when it changes.

  • Facility size, per-transaction size and program size
  • Equipment types and ages you finance, and those you exclude
  • New, used, or both
  • Structure: loan, finance lease, operating lease, sale-leaseback
  • Advance as a percentage of cost or appraised value
  • Term, and residual-value appetite
  • Minimum borrower credit quality or financial tests
  • Geographies and where the equipment may be located
  • Vendor programs or direct only
  • Valuation and inspection requirements
  • Who receives introductions

What you receive

  1. A fit note first. A short, anonymised description of the opportunity against your criteria. No company name.
  2. Your yes or no. If yes, the borrower and you both sign the NDA.
  3. A screened package in an access-controlled data room.
  4. A clear route to a term sheet. You underwrite and decide. We manage the process and the timetable.

Every view of the room is logged.

How we screen borrowers

  • Identity, ownership and authority to borrow
  • That the equipment exists, is as described and is located where stated
  • Valuation support and resale market
  • Existing liens, leases and registrations
  • Insurance
  • The borrower's capacity to service the financing

We do not replace your underwriting. We reduce the number of introductions that fail at the first hurdle.

Fees

Your engagement agreement sets out what you pay and when, before you sign. In short: a platform fee for access to screened deal flow, and a per-transaction fee when a loan we introduced is originated. A platform fee is not a guarantee of volume.

Questions

Do you inspect the equipment? We verify the details and documents. We do not substitute for your own inspection or appraisal.

Can we limit introductions to certain asset types? Yes. Asset type and age are core to your criteria.

Do you handle programs as well as single deals? Yes, where the program size fits your criteria.

Do you commit capital or take credit risk? No. We introduce. You decide and fund.

How do you keep a borrower's information safe? NDA first, an access-controlled room, personal links with emailed one-time codes, a watermark on every page, and a log of every view.
